Since my student days, as my mother is not only fond of sport, but also leads a healthy lifestyle, having studied a considerable amount of literature on the topic of nutrition, she stuck to separate nutrition system. But not always, for one simple reason, she is a real eastern woman and always follows her desires))).

Separate Diet

Seeing the results of this diet, I decided to try to stick to this diet, as a result, the digestive system improvement, lightness and I felt constantly energetic. The advantage of this diet is that you can eat everything, but separately, you cannot mix proteins with carbohydrates, separate foods into groups of their compatibility, and there is almost no harm for health. The system of separate nutrition was developed by American doctor Herbert Shelton. The main disadvantage of this diet is that it is impossible to eat certain tasty dishes, sushi with fish, pasta bolognese, salmon in milky sauce, manti, somsa, dumplings, for gourmets it is a matter of willpower))).

Atkins Diet

On the second place, KETO diet or Atkins diet is becoming quite popular now. Jennifer Lopez and many Hollywood stars chose Atkins diet. A ketogenic diet is low-carbohydrate, high-fat, low-protein diet. You can eat meat of animals and poultry, fish, eggs, dairy and cultured milk foods, nuts, vegetables for salads, mushrooms. Minimization or complete exclusion of carbohydrates from dietary intake, namely cereals, pasta, sugar, fruits, pastries, sweet vegetables (potatoes, beets, carrots). The advantage of this diet is that you easily and quickly lose weight, mental performance improves, the level of sugar in blood decreases, which leads to the treatment of many diseases. It is necessary to keep this diet under the supervision of highly qualified dietitian, since the main disadvantage of this diet is drastic change that affect the functioning of whole organism.

Dukan Diet

French nutritionist Pierre Dukan’s method became especially popular when Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, stuck to it. High-protein low-carb weight loss diet is divided into the following stages: “Attack Phase”, “Cruise phase”, “Consolidation Phase” and “Stabilization Phase”. At each stage there is a dietary intake. The main advantage of safe high-protein Dukan diet is rapid weight loss and maintaining of normal weight.

Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent fasting of Canadian nutritionist Brad Pilon reduces the number of consumed calories without harming your health and one of the lightest diets. You eat three times a day, skip breakfast or lunch for couple of unloading days per week and drink only herbal tea or water for dinner. This is the easiest and harmless way to lose those extra kilograms.

Japanese Diet

Japanese salt-free diet with a special menu for 13 days is one of the most effective diets due to complete change of metabolism. By feeding your body with fiber, you limit carbohydrate intake. Adhering to the main menu, where you cannot eat sugar, salt and alcohol, you can rapidly lose weight in 2 weeks. The main disadvantage is the necessity of adherence to the menu, and advantage is that it is easy to prepare all these dishes and salads.

Kremlin Diet

Kremlin diet is not less effective, its principle is daily calculation of carbohydrates and gradually excluding them to transit to a protein diet. It is necessary to learn how to count calories and carbohydrates. Diet should be kept under the observance of nutritionist.

Six-petal Diet

An interesting method of weight loss offers a six-petal diet, which consists of 6 one-day mono-diets of different products. Anna Johannson, a nutritionist from Sweden, developed this diet, its main principle is protein-carbohydrate nutrition. The most important thing is to alternate in this order: fish, vegetable, chicken, cereal, cottage cheese and fruit. The difficulty is that it is hard to eat one product all day.

Energy Diet

Different cocktails with maximum amount of vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats and carbohydrates provide your body with beneficial substances. The only disadvantage of this effective method is the consumption of these cocktails for a long period depending on your weight.
